It blooms in April/May.

Close up of the spadix. From above: staminodes (sterile male flowers), fertile male flowers,
pistillodes (sterile female flowers), fertile female flowers.
Together with the spathe they form a unique trap for pollinating insects.
About a month after the bloom, usually at the beginning of June, the plants lose the leaves.
Fruits ripen from the top.
A ripe infructescence lies on the ground, the fruits get disconnected from the axis.
The seeds germinate next spring, they need to spend the winter in cold.
If anyone has no garden, may store them in a fridge.
These photos explain why the species is named cylindraceum - the plant has a tuber, not a rhizome.
The left photo - juvenile plants, the right - adult ones.
There are 1-4 seeds in a fruit. The grid is 0.5 cm.
