Zamioculcas zamiifolia is the only species in the genus. In winter temperature above 15°C it stays evergreen, otherwise it loses leaves and only the swollen petioles remain, as it does growing wild.
In the spring of 2002 it was 55 cm tall.
A year later it was 110 cm.
