Philodendron hederaceum

(Jacq.) Schott 1829

It grows wild in Puerto Rico and Cuba. Its synonyms are Ph. scandens and Ph. oxycardium.
One of the gentlest. With its tiny leaves and elastic stems it looks really very delicate.

When it grows in good light, the newest leaves are brownish.
Here it grows together with Ph. hederaceum f. micans
In 2009 the the largest leaf blade was 17 cm long.
When the aerial roots appear, the stem becomes thicker.
