Peltandra virginica
Raf. 1819
This paludous plant is native to the North America.
I've got one small plant in 2004.
It spent the first winter in the ground, in 2005 I cultivated it in a pond.
In 2005 it put a few juvenile leaves and it wintered in the pond.
Next year it had the first arrow-shaped leaves,
but it died next winter.
