Dieffenbachia 'Veerle Compacta'

A middle-sized one, the leaves have much more white in them than 'Compacta'.
Besides, 'Compacta' is cream-yellow.

In summer of 2004 it bloomed.
Female flowers with staminodes.	Male flowers with pollen.

After 5 years of growing far from civilisation it looked like a creepy monster.
I rejuvenated it using top cuttings.
While work I noticed that the stems are longitudinally streaked.
It grows very quickly, 2 years later it looked neglected again.
