Anubias barteri var. barteri

Schott 1860

Native to Nigeria and Cameroon. It's 20-45 cm tall.

I bought one plant in 2011, I think in the nursery it had been growing emerse, but in the shop it was in an aquarium. I don't know how long it had been underwater, the leaves tissue began to decompose in some places.

The first leaf grown in my florarium appeared olive-brownish.

The abaxial surface of the leaves.
It lost almost all the old leaves and the new ones were very stiff, almost horizontally arranged.
