Anthurium watermaliense

hort. ex Bailey & Nash 1928

This species from Panama and Costa Rica belongs to the section Pachyneurium.
Its description was based on a specimen cultivated in Watermall in Belgium.
Fortunately it is still being found in the wild.
It is known as "The Black Anthurium", although it is not the only species with so dark spathe.
